On Wednesday, we were proud to host Oner Active’s Project Power workshop, giving 130 of our students the opportunity to take part in an empowering fitness and wellbeing session 💪 Led by athletes and built around empowering young women through strength training, the session brought together 130 of our students alongside 7 members of staff for an afternoon of activity, confidence-building and positivity. From workouts to motivational talks, the energy in the sports hall was amazing — and every student received a FREE Oner Active kit 👏 The impact was immediate — students have already been sharing how much they enjoyed the experience, how comfortable they found the kit, and many have even been wearing it in their PE lessons today! 🎭 Year 11 Drama Exam 🎭 An incredibly powerful and thought-provoking performance from our Year 11 Drama students on Friday. As part of their course requirements, students created and performed their own original short play entitled 'It Is Our Time', exploring the start of COVID-19 and its impact on children’s mental health. Their work showed remarkable creativity, sensitivity, and maturity in tackling such an important and personal topic. Through their performances, they highlighted the challenges many young people faced, while also promoting awareness, empathy, and resilience. We are very proud of the courage and honesty they brought to the stage.
