ACE

What is TKAT ACE?

ACE (A Champion for Every Child) is a pastoral support programme with the aim to provide support and opportunities for children in our school who receive Pupil Premium funding by allocating an adult who meets them regularly in school to support and challenge them to realise their potential; share their achievements and help them overcome any barriers that they may have.

I love my role as an ACE Tutor, knowing that our students have someone they can speak to whether it be for news to celebrate or an issue that needs resolving. I enjoy being an advocate to support our students and helping them overcome "life" barriers and encouraging them to achieve their full potential.
ACE DF Mrs Forrester - ACE Tutor

I have been a member of the ACE team since January this year. I can honestly say that I have never had such an enjoyable, fulfilling role as this. I feel honoured to be an Ace Tutor and it is wonderful to enjoy building relationships and supporting students of all ages. I love being part of helping and guiding my ACE students through issues or listening to their thoughts and feelings. Being an ACE tutor is extremely rewarding. The bonds we have formed with each other are truly special.
Over the years I have worked in many different roles at KTC but I now know and feel that I have found my true place and I love it!
